The forum is held every year by ESCAP, the United Nations body for Asia and the Pacific. Governments, UN agencies and civil groups meet to check how the region is doing on the Sustainable Development Goals.

In 2026 it ran on 24–27 February at the United Nations Conference Centre. Five goals were under review. Goal 6, on water and sanitation, was one of them.

HydroBeetle was there as an exhibitor and did not speak in the forum’s sessions.
